Letter to the Editor - Dona

Letter to editor
Sir,
We keep hearing about many deaths in the beaches of Mangalore during rainy season. Many of them are students from other states. It is indeed sad and the numbers of people who die like this is increasing year after year. There needs to be some kind of an analysis on this issue. If there are more strict rules and regulations in order to prevent the people from going near the sea, the number of such deaths can be reduced. The best way to put this idea into practice is to appoint security officers and life guards in all beaches especially the tourist spots in Mangalore. Many students come from other states are not aware of the violent nature of the sea during the rainy season. I think it is our duty to save the life of these people. I hope this letter will be published in your newspaper so that the issue will be discussed by the people as well as the authorities.
Yours faithfully
